We believe that attendance and physical presence at the events, as much as your time permits, will be most beneficial for the participants of the program. That said, we understand that your time is valuable, and sometimes scheduling considerations come into play, especially for the participants of the Rising Star category. Please let us know if you cannot attend. If you have signed up for a performance, or a master class, and have to cancel, please notify the Academy staff immediately, as it will affect the flow of the program. If you must arrive and leave while the program is in session, please do so, with consideration to those present and performing, keeping your comings and goings as quiet and unbotrusive as possible
Tuition supports the full range of resources needed to provide a high-quality ABAM experience throughout the semester or season. This includes venue and space rental, piano use and maintenance, visiting artist and guest faculty fees, program administration, event coordination, and other operating expenses associated with presenting ABAM programs and Musical Gatherings.
Tuition also helps support the continued development of the Academy, including new educational, performance, and community opportunities as the program grows.
Rather than paying only for an individual event, participants are contributing to the broader ABAM experience—a thoughtfully organized musical environment that brings together performers, teachers, guest artists, and music lovers while helping ensure that the Academy remains sustainable and can continue to develop meaningful programming.
